I developed the brand identity for Bark About Sydney, a Sydney-based dog walking service, working closely with the small business owner to create a visual system that felt friendly, approachable, and trustworthy. The goal was to build a brand that reflected the warmth and reliability of the service while also feeling fun and energetic, aligning with the personality of both the business and its clients’ pets.
The design direction focused on playful typography, an uplifting colour palette inspired by Sydney’s coastal lifestyle, and a logo mark that captures the movement, energy, and companionship of daily dog walks. Throughout the process, I collaborated closely with the client to refine ideas quickly, adapting concepts based on fast feedback cycles and ensuring the brand evolved efficiently to meet tight turnaround timelines typical of a small business environment.
To support ongoing use of the brand, I also built a suite of editable templates using Canva, enabling the client to easily create consistent marketing materials for social media and promotions without needing advanced design tools. This ensured the brand remained cohesive and professional across all touchpoints while giving the client the flexibility to manage and update content independently as the business grew.
